Mah Sing to buy Cyberjaya land

KUALA LUMPUR: Mah Sing Group Bhd has exercised an option to acquire an additional parcel of land measuring about 25,570 square metres or 6.32 acres in Cyberjaya from Cyberview Sdn Bhd and Setia Haruman Sdn Bhd for RM21.74 million or RM79 per square foot.
In a statement yesterday, Mah Sing said the land was located adjacent to another piece of prime freehold land measuring about 466,391 sq m (115.25 acres) that its subsidiary Myvilla Development Sdn Bhd was acquiring from Cyberview Sdn Bhd and Setia Haruman for RM130.53 million.
That acquisition comes with the option to acquire the adjacent commercial land, on which Mah Sing intends to undertake a commercial development that encompasses lifestyle retails and serviced apartments.
