Cyberjaya Writing Marathon 2011

Cyberview Sdn Bhd, the land owner of Cyberjaya, is organising a writing competition called the Cyberjaya Writing Marathon 2011 to write about the intelligent city’s many attributes.

Running for a month from now until Dec 7, the competition aims to stimulate creative thinking and innovative ideas among students, while emphasising the importance of ICT for the future of Malaysia.

According to Cyberview Business, Corporate Communications and Planning general manager Rashid Mat, the inaugural event has two categories: Category A for Malaysian secondary school students aged 13 to 17 and Category B for students at tertiary level, aged from 18 to 26.

“The topic for Category A is What is Cyberjaya to Me while Category B participants need to tackle the Importance of Cyberjaya for Malaysia’s Future,” says Rashid, adding that the essays submitted must not exceed 500 words.
