Cyberjaya SMEs showcase innovation at Sestech 2010

Cruise GPS Systems, Webonline Dot Com and StarFusion were part of 15 other SMEs under Cyberview which participated THREE Cyberjaya-grown enterprises launched their new business and consumer solutions at the recently concluded SME Enterprise Software Technology and Business Solution (Sestech 2010).

The three small- and medium- size enterprises (SMEs), namely Cruise GPS Systems Sdn Bhd, Webonline Dot Com Sdn Bhd and StarFusion Sdn Bhd were part of 15 other SMEs under Cyberview Sdn Bhd participating in Sestech 2010, according to a statement from Cyberview.

“SMEs within our delegation are examples of innovation and knowledge-based companies within the Cyberjaya ecosystem;’ Cyberview’s managing director Hafidz Hashim said in the statement.

Cruise GPS launched its Cruise 1Malaysia GPS navigation device while Webonline unveiled its Webcash Shared Account e-money service and StarFusion introduced its email and collaboration hosting service Star-FusionMail.

Sestech 2010 is the inaugural enterprise software conference and exhibition in Asean for SME which brought together executives from a broad range of industry sectors to learn about the benefits of enterprise management software technologies, source for solutions and form partnerships with local IT vendors.

“Sestech brought in visitors who have specific intent at learning how information and communication technology can help their business operations, hence providing a focused platform for the innovative talent produced by Cyberview’s home-grown SMEs,” Hafidz said.

In promoting Cyberview at the event, he added that Cyberview had developed stateof-the-art commercial, residential, business and institutional developments built on a sound technology, logistics and business support infrastructure.

‘Apart from the SMEs, over 500 companies have chosen Cyberjaya as their location, including DHL, Fujitsu, KPMG, HSBC and Nokia,” Hafidz said.
