Cyberjaya Community Club an added draw

THE now open Cyberjaya Community Club is expected to add a new dimension to the city which is knows for its multimedia and technology related institutions and industries.

Expatriates can look forward to recreational and sporting activities at the club.
The RM23mil double-storey complex houses a function hall, a coffee house, snack bar and shops that are facing the scenic lake, said Cyberview Sdn Bhd director general of finance Tan Sri Izzuddin Dali.

“It comes with a mini sports complex equipped with a driving range facility, courts for tennis, badminton, basketball and futsal.

“The complex also has a swimming pool, gymnasium and games room,” he said in his speech at the launch of the complex by Finance Minister 2 Nor Mohamed Yakcop.

Following feedback from the members of the community, he said there was a need for such a facility so that the township would be attractive to others.

“We are determined to meet the demands of the ‘Knowledge Workers’ (K-Workers) in the city and at the same time make it livelier and productive” he said.
